Teach For India is a movement of 1000 Fellows teaching 32,000 children and 4200 Alumni who are collectively working towards reaching 33 million children across India. Teach For India is also a part of the Teach For All Network, a growing group of independent organizations that are working to expand educational opportunities worldwide. Teach For India’s Fellowship places outstanding working professionals and college graduates as Fellows — who work full-time as teachers for two years in low-income and under-resourced schools. The organization has operations in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. Teach For India’s mission is to end educational inequity in India by creating a solid pipeline of driven, skilled talent within the educational ecosystem.
