CDSL becomes the first depository to open 7-crore active Demat accounts.

Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL), first and only listed depository in India, is pleased to announce the crossing of another noteworthy milestone today, as the seven crore (70 million) plus active demat account were opened at CDSL.

CDSL is currently the largest depository in the country in terms of active demat accounts.

Commenting on the joyous occasion, Shri Nehal Vora, MD & CEO of CDSL stated: “We are delighted to see that investors across various states and union territories are now contributing to India’s growth story.
