Cygnet Infotech donates laptops & desktops to Samerth Charitable Trust to facilitate digital learning for children in Kutch & other parts of Gujarat.

Cygnet Infotech had partnered with Ahmedabad-based NGO Samerth Charitable Trust to support the underprivileged sections of society through many initiatives. The company aims to empower children and support their education by donating 20 laptops & 10 desktops.

Commenting on these initiatives, Mr. Niraj Hutheesing, Founder & Managing Director of Cygnet Infotech said, “We continue to stay committed to our organizational values. We are happy to do our bit in supporting these children and enable them to have access to digital means of education. Together with our CSR partner, we have taken up this project to educate children and encourage supervised tutor-based learning through digital communication.”

Samerth Charitable Trust’s Kutch campus also homes a hostel for children from families that undergo distress migration – especially as Salt Pan workers, or at Brick Kiln sites. These Computers & laptops will help them set up a small computer room in their campus, where the hostel children will be getting exposure to technology for the very first time.

These computers at our tablet libraries in Ahmedabad, are used by children as well as their educators to learn amongst other things, type longer assignments on word and excel.

Corporate Social Responsibility at Cygnet Infotech is closely linked to the organization’s vision which is to empower lives globally with technology-enabled business solutions. Cygnet Infotech’s CSR charter recognizes that digitization does play an important role in bringing parity in access to learning and opportunities, which may otherwise be inaccessible to large sections of society. The themes of Digital Literacy and Digital Skill Development focus on exposing young minds from less privileged communities to digital learning, thus building curiosity and innovation among them.
