Nilon’s strengthens its Chinese product portfolio with a range of new-age sauces and condiments. According to a recent survey Chinese food is the second most popular cuisine in India, which enjoys a 15 percent share of the market. Keeping in view the growing popularity, acceptance and convenience amongst the consumers; Nilon’s, one of India’s leading processed food company has strengthened its Chinese range product portfolio.

The company recently added an array of new-age products in sauces, chutneys and spices. The basket of products includes Red & Green Chilli sauce, Soya sauce, vinegar, Szechuan Chutney, Manchurian Masala, Chicken 65 Masala and Chowmein Masala among others.

Prepared with authentic and superior ingredients this product range adds a burst of flavors to the dishes and enables home cooks to experiment with their culinary skills and provide convenience to cook up their favorite Chinese cuisines from noodles to fried rice and other delicacies.

Commenting on the overall category Dipak Sanghavi, Managing Director and CEO, Nilon’s said, “Chinese food product range is expected to dominate the market in the coming years due to shift in consumer consumption patterns, where people being at home are experimenting more with their food habits. The overall Chinese packaged food category is around 800 cr with Sauces and spices put together (Excluding Noodles) and growing at a CAGR of 15 %. From the consumer perspective, it seems to be a favorite amongst kids and they play a major role in influencing the purchase decisions for these products especially Scezhuan chutney, Manchurian, chowmein Masalas. With these products, now the homemaker or home chefs can easily cook their favorite Chinese cuisines from the comfort of their homes.”

Packaged in a contemporary and attractive packaging of sachets, reusable spout and bottle packs, the entire range of products will be available across the length and breadth of the country in all general trade along with select e-commerce platforms.

“We ensure that high and stringent standards of manufacturing are followed for making our products and emphasize the use of food-grade multi-layered packaging material to retain the freshness of our products over a longer period. Going forward we intend to expand this category substantially with many more new product offerings”, concludes Dipak Sanghavi.
